Throwing Class

These classes will happen on a monthly bases, on the last Saturday of every month, from 10am to 4.30pm, cost is €90 per person, which includes biscuit firing of two pots for you to take home.Read More..

I have only  four wheels so the class environment will be small and hands on.  Come and enjoy a day of making and learning, included will be a bowl of soup or salad depending on the time of year and plenty of chats and laughter. Please get in touch if you are interested in coming!

Clay Day has been designed for those bigger groups of people who are looking to do something different.  Spend a day working with clay under the instruction of ceramicist Jackie Maurer. Learn new skills and make something that you can take home at a later date and keep for ever more.Read More..

  This will be a fun filled collaborative day, ideal for Corporative groups, Hen parties, Team building, etc. Minimum 8, Maximum 10, cost per person €80, workshops run from 10.00am to 4.00pm and it includes a light lunch. Paper Clay Print Class

This Course will take places in The Burren Ballyvaughan Co Clare, at Jackie Maurer ceramics Studio. This is a one day workshop that will run from 10am to 4pm on the 23th of September 2017, the cost is €80 which includes all materials and firings. A bowl of soup or salad will be provided with tea, coffee and light refreshments.

This is an exciting workshops which will be held by ceramicist Mary Conroy, come and learn the skills to make paper clay and understand the concepts of colored slips whilst exploring the medium of clay in a very different way. This course is suited to those that enjoy drawing and mark making, the results of drawing on plaster slabs and transferring ideas on  to thin sheets of clay are very exciting.
